Fear rampant in one’s heart as the Leviathan perched upon my shoulder whispers evil into one’s soul. The darkness penetrating the pores in my skin, only to reach the blood in my veins. Each pump of the heart, circulates the dark blood infecting my once bright vessel. The gleam in my eyes, turns sullen. Black tears descend from my eyes. A sea of darkness anticipating my submersion, to asphyxiate my conscious mind. The darkness wants devour my soul to entirety, I refuse for it to take over me. It will not. It can not. I struggle to block out the Leviathan’s whispers, his mind control. I attempt to take his beastly figure from upon my shoulder. His claws hook on to my skin piercing flesh. He cannot live without his host. Contamination of perception a dark aura in creation. The harder I try, the deeper his claws push into my skin. My perseverance begins to fade. Leviathan’s whispers increasingly intensify. Sanity withdraws itself, and the madness begins. I fall to him. His strength overtakes my mental. The evil that has infected me, has become me. I am the Leviathan, waiting for a new soul to corrupt.
